Edit Me Challenge: May

I did this a while ago but I was just being lazy. But, I guess I better post it before the challenge is done! Picture was supplied by Stephanie, the host of Edit Me Challenges.

This is what I did:

All on Picmonkey:  I cropped, turned to black and white.  I used the Frost Filter.  Used a bokeh texture on found but don't remember where.  Then I added the Simple Edge Frame.

My Edit

This is what I did:

First went to ipiccy:
Auto fixed, cropped, airbrushed and added bokeh which I faded to 43%.

Then went to picmonkey:
I used the Daguerreotype frame-shiro which I faded to 49%.  Used a sepia filter and added the Museum Matte frame.

Been a while since I posted anything on my blog.  I had picked up more hours at work and I needed to step a way for a while.  The first card I made after my break was horrible!  Yikes!!  Hopefully next is better.

Adjustment:   Autofix, Vibrance up to 98 and cropped it.
Effect:  Default - Amber
Then saved it.

 

Summer Show Off Week 3

Time for Summer Show Off with Edit Me Challenge! I am still working with our Up North trip from a few weeks ago.  I am working with a pic of our dog Parker.  He loves the water!!

Adjustment:  Cropped the photo.  Auto Fixed.

Overlay:  Retro Poster-Burst, Paper-Ink whick I lightened to 81.

Summer Show Off Week 2

 Time for another Summer Show Off with Edit Me Challenge.  Just this past weekend we all went upnorth in Michigan to visit my Hub's parents at their cottage.  The kids were crazy about the lake, and I was crazy taking pictures;)

What I did on Photobucket:
Adjustment:  Auto Fix and Touch Up with lighting up the shade under the left eye and trying to bring some shine to her eyes.  For the eyes it didn't really pop.  Gotta figure that out on GIMP.

Overlay:  Bokeh-Citrus which I lightened up to 65.

Effect:  Vintage-Doris

Border:  Squared-Print

Summer Show Off by Edit Me Challenge

Over at Edit Me Challenge,  they are doing something different.  Instead of editing a picture supplied by them we are showing off a pic we took and edited.  Then at the end of submission day we will be voting on the favs.  The pic I chose was Michaela a few hours after her First Holy Communion.  She was so tuckered out.  She fell asleep waiting for the guest to arrive for dinner.

I used Photobucket for this edit. But I did my edit 2 months ago so I don't remember exactly what I did.
I know that I cropped it and used a color filter but I don't remember which filter.  I also put some bokeh in it and lighten the bokeh up.  I also used a grungy frame but don't remember the name of it.

What I did:
I went to Picmonkey.    I first Cropped the image and chose Film Stock and picked Reala.  I then added a peachy color tint.  I added Frost and a Drop Shadow.  Then the Text and Saved.  There is not much you can do...He Is Already Stickin' Cute!!

My edit

To do my edit:
I went to Photobucket and cropped and sharpen the photo.
I wnt on GIMP and added a sun with the supernova filter
Then to iPiccy where I played with the curves to make the sky darker.  Added more vibrance. A matte look and a grunge look.  Then saved.

I keep going back and forth about the grunge look but it kept on grabbing me...so I had to keep it:)
