I took this during our Wisconsin trip. It is the vintage look. It was also very chilly that day. It was so windy and cold that my ears hurt!
Jason took this of the kids and me walking on the pier in Wisconsin. It is the soft glow look. Not sure if I like it. Any way...so you see the pidgeon poop on the ground. It was everywhere! I was so surprised we never got hit in the head by a poop bomb:)
This I took of Adela right before she blew out her birthday candles. She was so happy. I cropped it and use the "make the picture look better setting". I think that setting just lightens up the picture a bit. Then I used the sepia toned look. This is my favorite setting. The only thing was it makes it look like her teeth are bad.

Her sepia teeth look like my normal teeth. ;)
Love the effects on the photos. I know what you mean, I see people have black and white plus a splash of color and it looks so cool. Hope you can figure it out!
Love them -- the first one is so pretty -- but you know that is my favorite.
Your girls are just precious!!
Give yourself some time. Learning any new computer program can be frustrating. It looks like you are making good headway though.
Can't wait to see more of your pictures. Have a great day!
Nice pics Vickie! I wish I had the time to play around with mine more.
I want to know how to print on my photos too! Of course, I have no software of any kind so even if I knew how, it wouldn't matter. ;)
CM has an awesome software program that allows you to organize your pics, and do all sorts of fun things to them, such as the cropping, color changing, and "cloning" which would remove unwanted items from a picture; such as someones foot or something to that effect...
Adela is so cute; I love that name too!!
I like the sepia effect on the first photo, very nice:)
AL
i would definitely use the "skinny setting" on me too! hahaha! cool!
I love messing with my photo programs! I really want Adobe Photoshop, but I will probably have to become a stripper to afford it!lol!
paint.net is a free program that does the things that you are looking to do hon.
I love messing around with my pictures. I think it's really relaxing! ♥
I don't have the patience for those editing programs, lol! I just try to get the picture right when I take them...or take a ton of them!!! I love the way they make them look though!
Have a great day!
