Flip Flop Edit Challenge: March 2B

Amy is back from vacay!! So the photo editing challenges are back on...Yay!!   She also supplied the photo for the challenge.

My edit
This is what I did:
First with ipiccy-
  • Auto fixed
  • Brighten eyes and earrings with eye brighten tool.
  • Airbrushed.
  • Added a texture called Just Something by DesiraeR on DeviantArt.  I also follow her blog.  She gives a lot of tuts for Gimp.

Then I went on pixlr and framed it using the Default frame called Hassel.

Flip Flop Edit Challenge Feb 3a

This is what I did:
  • Added a sun with the supernova filter on Gimp.
  • With ipiccy, took out the pole behind the couple with the cloning tool.
    • Cropped.
    • Used the eye brighten tool on the sky and water.
  • With pixlr, added two overlays.
    • Overlay 1, Retro poster-burst.
    • Overlay 2, Leaking HD-ovverride
    • Framed with the default frame called scan.

More Photo Editing Fun

I found another photo edit challenge blog. It is called, Your Own Edit.   Mariane, the host of Your Own Edit, supplied the picture to work with this week.

This is what I did:
 
  • Added a sun with the supernova filter on Gimp.
  • Then went to Pixlr  and autofixed.
    • Added a bokeh overlay called Dewy.
    • Used the rounded corner border called Seeme.

Saturday Revamp 4

I took the picture in June of 2008.   We had gone to a zoo in Moline, Il.  It was called The Niabi Zoo.  The fish would all group together when they saw people at the edges.  They were so used to getting food.  It was an amazing site.  Remind me of a scary movie;)

This is what I did:
 
  • With Gimp I added a Teal Bokeh texture, which I got from Winterbright on DevianArt.
  • I added a scratched texture.
  • I added more scratches in the bottom left corner with a couple of scratch brushes from FrostBro on DevianArt.
  • Then I went to ipiccy and used the vintage filter-Polaroid Film.
  • Then I went to pixlr.com and added a frame - White Ripped - Tjugo.
Thanks for looking and hope your weekend is going great.  We had a three day weekend because of a snow storm that hit early Friday morning.

  • I went to Pixlr.com.
  • Adjustment
    • Cropped
    • Color Splash
    • Vibrance to 73%
    • Color
      • Hue to -64%
      • Saturation to -45%
  • Overlay
    • Bokeh - Princess to 41%
    • Leaking HD-Spotty to 100%
  • Frame - Ink - Blacksun
 
Purple is my favorite color:)
