Well in honor of Franklin I thought we make turtles. I got this idea from Lindsey. Her class did this last week and I thought the other two kids would like it.
You just need a paper plate, green construction paper for the legs and head. Then you can use all sorts of colors for the shell. I just traced the feet and head out of the green paper, then taped it on the plate. I let the other two glue the paper on the shell. Michaela and Adela had so much fun.
Here is Michaela's turtle. She called it Harriet.

My first TV show that become a favorite of mine when I started having kids was the Wiggles. I had a crush on Captain Feathersword. Do you have a childrens show that you don't mind watching?

i like Franklin, Little Bear, Bear and the Big Blue House, Out of the Box, PB & J Otter, iCarly, Little Bill, ... those are the ones I can think of for now. Except now my kids are older and no more little ones... :(

hahahaha, i too crush on captain feathersword!!!! LOL my gage loves Caillou; and i have to admit that Caillou's whining GETS ON MY NERVES!! he also loves Lil Bill, but i like that one.

You asked me awhile ago about the outdoor mall, yep we were at Partridge Creek. I think the scrapbooking store you crop at is nearby, see I AM out in that neck of the woods often. We should meet up for a playdate some nice day, maybe at a park or something with the girls.
Oh I meant to add I secretly love watching the Backyardigans. I enjoy Olivia, the Wonder Pets, and Max & Ruby too. Guess I just love all things toddler. ER is not so much into Franklin and I don't know why...or the Wiggles for that matter.

I don't watch them yet but I am sure by next year I can tell you my favorite! LOL! Love the turtles! They all turned out so cute and I bet the kids had such a blast making them!
