Here is my take on the sketch. I was gonna use my kids Crayola spray paint maker but it is the mess free kind where you use that special paper. So I couldn't get a spray paint effect. Instead, I used a snowlike embossing powder in that area. I hope you can see it.
I mentioned this on twitter..I have a job interview this Thursday. It is a part time retail job at a scrapping store. The store is one of my favorites. I just have all these different feelings. We can use the extra money that I may be bringing in, but I feel anxious, nervous and a little sad. I have been a SAHM for nine years. Parts of me don't want to go back to work. I would have to go back to work in a year and a half anyway because Adela will be in kindergarten. The hours would work for us. Nights and weekends. In a way, I feel it is the universes way of telling me take this one now because I may not get another chance.

I love it, taht will be a very attractoev scrapbooking page
I just realized that I didn't have you on my new blog's blogroll. DUH.
I hear you about going back to work, it is scary! Of course my reason for staying home wasn't as good as yours. I hope it works out well for you.
I like that layout!
I know what you mean about going back to work. I'll be praying about your interview and your decision. I guess one way to look at it is this: if you have to work, a scrapbooking store is a pretty good place to work!
Beautiful page!
Good luck with the job! I understand your mixed emotions...
(((Hugs)))
that would be a GREAT job for you! Not to mention you could financially support your "habit".
Good luck Vickie on your job interview I know you'll gonna make 'cos you're one talented girl. Go girl!

I totally get the mixed emotions - I dread the day that I have to start working again. I think it's great though that it would be in a store selling something you love! That makes it a little less like work ;)
What a lovely page! Good luck with the interview - working in a scrap store sounds like a good way to go to me!

Much luck with the job. I understand your mixed feelings, but maybe this is a good way to ease your way back into the work world?
Good Luck with the interview! I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Very nice!
I made a scrapbook/calendar for my parents...man, I barely made it! You all have talents for reals...
I bet you'll enjoy working, should you take the job, and adding that layer to your life. Hope it all goes smoothly for ya! :)
Good luck on the interview, they'd be nuts not to want you. Don't think of it as work, think of it as getting paid to be surround by all those yummy paper goods. Does Jasson realize half your pay check might go right back into that store? Plus it might not feel as much like work because it's related to a hobby you love.
That is a beautiful layout!!! As far as the job goes, I think you may find it fulfilling because it's at a store that is related to your favorite hobby! If it's meant to be, it will be! :)
