Winter Wishes and Yay Snow!

Before I show the card I finished, I wanted to show you something. As some of you know I have been complaining because I hadn't gotten any snow. Well...yesterday we got an inch or two. See...See the flakes were still falling yesterday afternoon!

What! No Snow Still!

Yup!! This is another post where Vickie complains that she had a green Christmas!

During Christmas Eve and Christmas a storm came through the middle of the country. A lot of people looked out their window on Christmas and got this:

But!!! We still had a great day!! I also realized that day that my Husband still really loves me:)

All About Kids: Christmas

Adela and I did the noodle wreath. She had so much fun. She said it was like putting Legos together.
Michaela did this at school. It is her hand. I thought it was so adorable!!
Lindsey did this Christmas tree in school. I was so surprised she had the patience to do it;) She was so proud.
Another project that Michaela did at school with her little bitty hands. Snowman on an ornament! So sweet!

Where Is My Snow Storm?

I got nothin'

For the past two years, the week before Christmas, we usually get a snow day from school. Each time gave us a three day weekend. So, I actually thought it was gonna happen again. Well...IT DIDN'T!! All we got was a slushy mess, that pretty much melted by lunch time.

So there is another snow storm hitting the Virginia area and guess what? Yup! Nothin' for my area.

We could use some snow. I always feel holly jolly when it is snowing. Hopefully, we don't have a green Christmas.

I Am Trying Out

Okay. I am kind of stepping out of the box. This is the first time I am entering a Design Team challenge. I am a little nervous. My work is usually a little simple. But, I thought I should still give it a go:)
Here is the Design Team for January challenge sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays.
Here is my take on that sketch. We were also to use three different patterned paper from different paper packs. Also use three different embellishments in groups of three.

The Three Embellishments were

• Black Pearl Stickers
• Ribbon
• Buttons

It was when Michaela was about 2 1/2 months old and her cousins were lavishing her with all this attention. The first picture she looks a little nervous. The second picture she has this, "Yup. I'm awesome" look and the last picture looks like the cousins are saying, "Mom. We want another baby."

Hush Little Baby

Here is Sketchy Thursday's current sketch.
Here is my take on it. It is really simple. But the picture is the most important part! It is Lindsey when she was just about a year. Don't ya just love it when babies sleep with their butt in the air!!?? For the journaling I used the first verse of "Hush Little Baby".

Birthday Card With Baggy Eyes;)

An Invitation For All My Crafty Friends!!

For the past few months I have fallen in love with digi stamps. Don't get me wrong I still love the rubber stamps. But there are some cute images that some companies produce. The group I just joined is putting together 50 designers and 50 crafters. Every month the desingers post a new digi images and we as crafters get to choose which one to use. We then do a project with the image and the winner gets a prize and so does the winning designer. It is 2 pounds a month. I don't know yet in dollars. This was a Christmas gift from Jason:)

She Is Rolling Over!

Here is my take on that sketch. It is of Michaela and my sister, Elaine, who was watching her for me. I had to take Lindsey to the doctors. She had some kind of eye infection. Nope, it was not pink eye;) Elaine had gotten so excited she just started taking pictures of the baby. I swear she is trying to roll over!!
