I am grateful that I am able to stay home with my kids. Yes, there are times during the day I watch TV or blog while my kids are playing or napping. But I am glad to be with my kids.
Yes, after each baby, it took awhile for me to adjust to a new person. I did complain. When you are cranky with sleeplessness and in my case bad hemorroids and a body rash(allergic to whatever medicine they put in the epidural), complaining is gonna happen. Not being able to sleep at night for about two months. Getting a kid ready for school when the baby is crying. But, I am glad it was me who did all this. Want to know something, I miss this period. I miss being up at 4 in the morning and just sitting and feeding my baby.
I am grateful my Hubby works hard, so I can stay home. Thank you Jason.
I just wanted to say that all good mothers work hard. Stay at home, working, work at home, we all do. Lets be united in motherhood!

Stay at home mothers have the hardest jobs possible in my opinion. Well, REAL stay at home moms...not my boss who claims she is a stay at home mom but then has a full time nanny...
Anyways, being a stay at home mom is my "dream job"! I can't wait for the day!
I agree... being a stay at home mom IS hard work. You wouldn't say a daycare employee or a nanny (hi YaYa!) don't have jobs because they're taking care of kids. You're doing the same thing, except, without pay, and they're you're own kids. :)
I know "stay at home mom" was my dream job too. (sadly, I will never be)
I had a stay at home mom growing up. When she returned to work when I was 17, she said it was more of a vacation for her. That was her way of saying that motherhood was a full-time job. At 17, however, I wasn't so sure how to take that.
You said it girl! I don't know why anyone has to put any group down! We all work hard.
poor blogger who posted that blog. obviously her mother didn't love her enough to stay at home with her - hahaha. just kidding!!! i wish i could stay at home with my kids. i wish that every day. but being a single mom - well it just isnt an option. i hate working outside the house - but i have to remind myself that i am just lucky to even have a job. beats living in the homeless shelter.
my dad worked 70 hrs a week so my mom could stay at home with 7 kids. she definitely had the harder job. i am grateful to both of my parents for the sacrifices they made!
That person has no clue and sometimes I don't think my husband does either haha. I do really appreciate what he does for us so that I can be with Noah.
There are times (last night was one of them) where I wish that I did work outside of the house so that I could get a break, just a few minutes of peace and quiet.
You don't get that much at home, we're on the clock 24/7. I'm not complaining about it, I wouldn't want it any other way.
I agree. I love being a SAHM.
I've done both and have to agree stay at home Mama's have it rough! :)
