I did a quilt-like layout. Right after Lindsey's first birthday party was over, Jason and I had to go bowling. Jason's parents stayed and watch Lindsey for us. They took pictures of her in front of the Christmas tree in her little rocker.

We are still on Lindsey's first birthday party. As I mentioned before, Lindsey only wanted Daddy to hold her. She is now 8 years old and Daddy is still her favorite. I know she loves me and I am the one she goes to if she is sick or hurt, but there is something about Daddy. That is okay because Michaela and Adela are still mine:):)
I used a Stampin' Up kit. I love using kits cuz you know that the whole thing will go together. No guess work:)

This is a double layout of Lindsey's first birthday party. As you can see, only one person was allowed to hold her. That is right...she was and still is Daddy's girl. If I held her she cried...everyone thought it was funny. She also didn't want anything to do with her cake, which was kind of nice because I didn't have to clean her up:):):) Sorry, the pictures seem dark, but they don't seem that way in real life.

Today is Scrapbook Sunday!! Scrapbook Sunday is brought to us by Holly of Girls At Heart and Noelle of Lil' Bits and Pieces Of Me.I am starting to like the look of Digital Scrapbooking. But until Santa can give me Adobe Photshop Elements 7 I found a website that does it for free. It is called Scrapbook Flair. It is free but restricting. You can't bring in elements from another company. You can only use what they offer. If you look around there is alot of stuff. So this will do...until Santa comes down the chimney!!
I took the pictures last week of Adela. She feel asleep in the rocking chair. This is my first digi scrap page. Kind of basic right now. I am still learning. It is also not as bright. It just will not let me save it, so I had to go around, turn to html and then do a save as. It is Lindsey. She is not quite a year yet, but this is techinically her second Christmas. She was born 6 days before Christmas of 2000. This was taken the end of November of 2001. We were decorating our tree and Lindsey had grabbed the lights. I of course ran to get a camera to take a picture then I took the lights away from her:)

I now it is not acid safe, so I am putting my page at risk. I had glued it to another piece of cardstock to act as a buffer.

We didn't take Adela. She is still a little rambunctious, so she stayed with Grandma. Next year we will take her. Next year Jason's June convention will be in Traverse City, Michigan. A tad more closer. Jason and I felt bad she was not there with us, especially since the first day we left was her birthday:(

This page is some of my pictures during the summer of 1993 when I was a camp counselor at the Girl Scout Camp, The Timbers. My camp nickname was Munchkin. I enjoyed working at the camp. I got to travel the up north area of Michigan, either by hiking or biking. I had gotten so toned!

Lately I have been feeling a little discombobulated(whoa, big word!) Lindsey was sick, I have been feeling tense about a few things, and Michaela had swallowed a watch battery the day before Good Friday and I had to take her to get an xray this past week to see where it was because it had not come out. Well if must have passed because it was no longer on the xray. Tomorrow we have to take Michaela for a lactose breath test to confirm that she is lactose intolerant. Later in the week she is going to see the stomach peds doctor to go over her test results. Basically for the past fews weeks I have been feeling a little jumbled. I feel like I am trying to catch up on stuff. Basically life got in the way and my blogging got even farther behind. I am trying to catch up. Actually I have been trying to catch up ever since we had that computer virus in February. Darn Geeks!
The things I am tense about will resolve. I just need to let it go and move on.
A Yaya trademark optimistic saying, that she usually puts on the end of her posts, needs to be put here for today.
