This is a double layout of Lindsey's first birthday party. As you can see, only one person was allowed to hold her. That is right...she was and still is Daddy's girl. If I held her she cried...everyone thought it was funny. She also didn't want anything to do with her cake, which was kind of nice because I didn't have to clean her up:):):)

I made this card for my Niece's birthday. She liked it. Before she opened her gift she looked at me and asked if I made the card. I told her yes and she said thank you. I felt pretty good:) I also made it for the SBS #26 challenge.

Scrapbook Sunday: Sweet Bubba

Today is Scrapbook Sunday!! Scrapbook Sunday is brought to us by Holly of Girls At Heart and Noelle of Lil' Bits and Pieces Of Me.

I am starting to like the look of Digital Scrapbooking. But until Santa can give me Adobe Photshop Elements 7 I found a website that does it for free. It is called Scrapbook Flair. It is free but restricting. You can't bring in elements from another company. You can only use what they offer. If you look around there is alot of stuff. So this will do...until Santa comes down the chimney!!

I took the pictures last week of Adela. She feel asleep in the rocking chair. This is my first digi scrap page. Kind of basic right now. I am still learning. It is also not as bright. It just will not let me save it, so I had to go around, turn to html and then do a save as. So the end result on my blog is not so bright, but on my computer and printed it is:)

TV Makes Things A Little Better!

I have been waiting for this since General Hospital screwed this couple up!! I have been dancing the Jig of Joy since Monday!! You have to wait til the end to get the good stuff so fast forward if you want!! You know...sometimes TV makes things a little better:)

There is nothing I can do. It is what it is. I have to move on. Even Adela knew I wasn't happy. That is pretty bad and sad. So, I am trying to snap out of it! I want to thank everyone for the bloggy love.

Geez, my last post was on Monday!! I really haven't been in such a good bloggy mood lately. A few things have been upsetting me and blogging isn't cheering me up like it did in the beginning.

A couple members of my family have been upsetting me and pissing me off. One made me so nervous I thought about changing the locks and the other, well, we haven't been close in a couple of years and when she got married with out me I realized we were never gonna get back the closeness that we had. She doesn't return my phone calls and when I finally got a hold of her she kind of blew me off. That makes me very sad:(

Also, we are good customers with Chase. We pay our bill either on time or early, but because we are not using the credit card as much they raised our rates. We are now paying an extra 300 bucks a month. It is making everything tight again. I feel guilty when I buy a scrapping magazine!!

For the past couple of weeks we just have not been happy. There have been moments where I just want to cry, but then I think there are people out there having a rougher time than we are having.

It all just has me feeling a bit blue, so please don't think I have stopped checking out blogs. I am just being slow right now.

Music Monday: The Neville Brothers-Bird On A Wire

It is Music Monday. Today I chose The Neville Brothers, Bird On A Wire. The song was also used on the sountrack for the movie of the same name which stared Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn. Alot of times I just watch the movie to hear the song which is at the end credits. A month ago Jason bought the song off of Itunes for me so he would not have to watch the movie. You know, he is not crazy about chick flicks.

Scrapbook Sunday: Our Little Christmas Tree

Hey, Hey, Hey! It is time for Scrapbook Sunday. Which is brought to us by Holly of Girls At Heart and Noelle of Lil' Bits and Pieces Of Me.

It is Lindsey. She is not quite a year yet, but this is techinically her second Christmas. She was born 6 days before Christmas of 2000. This was taken the end of November of 2001. We were decorating our tree and Lindsey had grabbed the lights. I of course ran to get a camera to take a picture then I took the lights away from her:)
