Blanket and Formula Tongue Layout

This is what I was feeling this morning. I tried waiting up late last night so I could be in the top 10 comments in SITS. But at 1:00 this morning my eyes were spinning so I had to go to bed. How about the rest of you?

Here is a double layout. I ripped two 12x12 pattern papers in half. Then I poked holes on the top half or bottom half of the sheets depending where I placed them on the layout. I then stitched the two together with thread floss, leaving a bit of space between the two sheets. For easier stitching I adhered the papers to the album so there would be no give. Then I finished my layout. The layout was about the blanket her Great Grandma Walzcak crotchet for her. She still uses this blanket and she is eight now.

This page I had called "Formula Tongue Baby" These pictures were taken after she had some formula and she had that white residue left on her tongue. This is me also trying to use tags. I cannot get artsy with my tags.

Here is the blog I was giving a shout out to yesterday. It is a good craft with kids blog. I am going to be doing some in the next couple of days with my girls.http://just4funwithsandy.blogspot.com/

Lindsey's Second Month and Block Work Scrapbook Pages.

This was a double page. The top was the right side and the bottom was the left. The bottom one is also not so blurry. Oh well. I got this idea from Memory Makers. The buttons are really 3-d stickers. These pages involved alot of measuring. It took me two or three days to do these pages. But, of course, I was also watching TV at the time, so I was a bit distracted. Hey, TV watching is another hobby of mine.

Here is Lindsey's 2 month scrapbook page. I am so bummed, I cut off the bottom end a bit. It was simple to make and I like the page. The pink paper is actually a velvety kind of paper. The squiggly lines is part of the pink paper. I think the sticker border is adorable. I want to say I got it at Creative Memories. It was a while ago. Sorry I don't know where my stuff comes from, but since I am blogging, I will be taking notice when I do anything new.
I also want to say I was feeling a bit blue today. I just happened to mention it at SITS and I got a few comments to cheer me up. It was great, totally unexpected. I also saw a great blog in the process, which I now follow. Her name is Sandy and I will post the name in tomorrow's post. I just wanted to give her a shout out, because her blog is going to give me some ideas for crafts with my kids.

One Of My Favorite Templates And An Advent Tour

Lets first get into the season. Marg at Reading Adventures is helping to host an Advent Tour. On the day of your picking you share something about yourself, traditions for the season, etc. See my sidebar or check it out here: http://readingadventures.blogspot.com/2008/11/2008-blog-advent-tour.html. I have been a follower of her blog since the beginning. She is a huge fan of books and she likes stamping as well.

Also 2 posts ago, I mentioned I used a template for a page. Just in case you were interested, here is the picture of it and the name is deluxe color blocking template-series 1, Template 13-B. You can't tell but the inside ridges all have blue markings on them from my tracing.

Lindsey Sleeping and Weee!! Scrapbook Pages

WEEE!! I love this page. I took pictures of Lindsey, swinging on her baby swing. When I developed them, I saw an instant scrapbook page!! The button sticker on the left is covering up an accidental ink mark. With scrapbooking you can fix almost all mistakes. I was pleased with myself.
To creat this pages, I used The Deluxe Color Blocking Templates-series 1, template 13-B from http://www.deluxecuts.com/. I use this template alot. It helps me measure for a more perfect fit.

Around this time that I did this page, I discovered using font from your computer. Which is about as computer scrapbooking that I get. Though a few weeks ago, I discovered http://www.smilebox.com/. I really like using the website. You can use the basic service for free. Though I still like doing it manually. It is fun putting things together from scratch.
Well, it is Saturday, and I am looking to catch up on my TV watching. I have so much TV shows programed on my DVR. The DVR starts to fill up during the fall season.

Vickie's Picture of Her Craft Area

Alexandria, one of my Stamping Blogging Sisters is having a contest on who has the messiest craft room. She also has a nice blog, so check out her blog and contest here:http://southernbluebelle.blogspot.com/2008/11/messy-craft-room-contest.html So I am submitting my room or lack off. I don't have a craft room. All my stuff is in the basement. Since my husband is renovating the basement, all my stuff has been put in bins and bags, not in an orderly fashion. So it may not be messy, but it is disorganized.

General Cards

I made all these cards at a get together. So I do not remember the name of the stamps. But they are all Stampin' Up! products. I made the cow card 2 weeks after I had my last child. My cousin was the demonstrator, so everybody there was family. So they thought it was a hoot we were making this design. The other 2 cards were made at another demonstrator's get together.
