Goodbye Sydney, We Miss You

This past Thursday, we had to say goodbye to Sydney. She is the black dog in the picture. Jason and I got her in 1997. We got her from the Michigan Humane Society. She was our first dog as a couple.
Jason and I have been in and out off a foggy feeling. We miss her and the house feels strange without her.

Sydney's Buzz Cut and See Ya!

I haven't been blogging much this week. We are leaving tonight to go to Jason's family cottage. I have been cleaning and packing all this week. I still have stuff I need to pack and I want to give the girls a bath before we go.

I am worried though...I hear it is going to be a bit chilly by the lake in upper Michigan. I hope the sun is out at least.

But before I go I wanted to show you a before and after of Sydney. Last week she got a buzz. I think she feels so much better. Heck, I usually do when I chop alot of my head:)

Before her buzz cut.
After the buzz.

When I took the pictures they didn't seem so dark.

Next week I will show you some damage that Parker did. You know...the other dog:p Yeah, he is going with us.

You all have a good weekend. I hope the weather is nice for you.

Meet the Pee Machine

This past week, I have been complaining about our new puppy. So I thought I should show you a picture of the Pee Machine.

First to the left is our dog, Sydney. Jason and I got her in 1997. She was a stray then, so the Humane Society does not inow her exact age. They estimate it then at 2-3 years. So I am thinking she is about 14-15 years old. She is a chow sheltie.

Right now she is not happy that we brought home this guy:

Here is the Pee Machine. His name is Parker. He is 4 months old. We were told he was potty trained. Pft! I am a little annoyed with picking up puppy pee. He is a rottweiler Australian sheep dog. A co-worker of Jason's didn't want to send the dog back to the shelter, so we took him. Jason says so proudly that we saved him. Yeah, okay. Stop peeing in my house, stop bugging Sydney, stop humping my girls. Yes he is asserting his male dominance. Dude, you have been fix!! Stop asserting!!

So needless to say, we are still adjusting.

This is a card I made for my March Secret Sister of the SBS 26. I know she got the card, so I can post the picture.

News about Michaela: Her blood and urine test came back normal. So her doctor wants me to send her to the pediatric gastroenterologist. Of course the guy he wants me to go to is in Detroit. Yeah, I get to drive in the 'hood.
