Baby Picture Sundays: It's A Shore Thing

Hi again!! This is my last week of work. Actually I just work one day and then I am done. This will give me more time to craft and blog!! Oh ya...and be with the kids;)

I saw this meme on Chasing Little Crocs thru Facebook and thought it was so sweet! It is called Baby Picture Sundays and you play at Who Says 8 Is Enough? The theme for this week is: It's A Shore Thing.

So I dug up photos of Lindsey back in 2002. It was one of our many trips Up North.

This was before my digi camera so I can't really see her face in the last one:(

Easter Card

I told you it would be another week before I blogged again;) Actually I am just very tired and looking forward to summer. I know...I still have two more months.

I really haven't been in the crafting mood and my last attempt shows it.

Here is a sketch from Stretch N' Bubbles Challenges. With her challenges you always have to use her images. She gives a free one away every Wednesday, so you can't go wrong with her challenge:)
I also used a recipe challenge with Sketches By Tamara. We were to use brads, buttons and the color blue.
Here is my take on the sketch. I didn't do the challenges justice this week:( My card is a bit simple.

Perhaps I need more sleep.

Foto Friday: Fancy Shoes

I was missing blogging so I thought today was a good day to start up with my regular postings. (Watch me not post for another week;)

I wanted to join my friend Michaela's Foto Friday.


After getting up early for Easter and having a busy day with egg collecting and scamming each others Easter basket, Jason and Adela fell on the couch and took a nap.
These two photos were taken right after Christmas. Adela had gotten fancy play shoes for Christmas and was hobbling along when I took the photos.
She looks so grown up:(

Well, some news. At the end of April I will no longer be working. I will be a SAHM again!! Jason received some new responsibilities at work and can no longer guarantee that he can leave on time. My kids seem to be happy about this bit of news. While I am glad, I find myself feeling bad that I am leaving.

Bingo!

A few days ago I had finished a FUN challenge over at Sketches By Tamara. It was a bingo challenge. I used the diagonal line starting from brads to bling.


In the line is one of their archived sketches and I used sketch # 86.
BINGO!! He He! It is a layout of my Mom and Michaela. We were at a birthday party which was held in the basement and it was COLD. I had kept Michaela's hat on and wrap her in a blanket with my Mom holding her. She was sooooo cute!

Thanks for looking at my layout and I gotta go. There is a bad storm coming our way. The tornado producing kind.
