Christmas Something Day 4

Another late post...well, at least I am still doing my challenge.  The Santa and Mrs. Claus figures was a hand me down from the Hubs grandparents.  I am surprised every year that our dog hasn't knocked it down!

Christmas Something Day 3

50 minutes more left of day 3, nothing like waiting til the last minute.

I took this a few years ago.  I loved how I edited it.  I used my old iPod which took crappy pictures at night.  But with some of the editing apps, it was one of my favs that Christmas.  It was one of our tree top angels.

Christmas Something Day 2

 

December 2nd...Day 2 of Christmas Something!  A few years back the girls and I made some snowglobes.   I got the instructions from Martha Stewart and Pinterest.  The girls wanted to use animals.

I used a snowman ornament I found at the dollar store.

 

I had to hot glue the lid a lot!  It kept leaking!  BUT, We still use them!  I tried to do it with pictures of the kids, as a grandparent gift but the water seeped into the tape that I had wrapped around the pics and the ink ran.  Yeah, that was not a keeper gift;)

Christmas Something Day 1

Well, here goes...starting day 1 with Christmas Something.

This is a candle holder Jason and I bought while we were in Frankenmuth in the beginning of November.  We just love Yankee Candle.  I love the crackle glass.

I don't know if it is just my computer, but I have lines on my blog!  Like a sheet of paper.  On my mini Ipad, it doesn't show any lines.  Since, it doesn't show on my pad, I am hoping it is not the blog itself.  I swear, ever since we let the kids down load some games on our computer, it runs slow and flakes on me.  We have virus protection so I know it ain't a bug.

Christmas Something

Well, haven't blogged in months again.  Oh dear.  So, I thought maybe if I did a Christmas thing, it might put me in the mood.  So everyday in December, I am going to post something about Christmas.  I am going to call it:  Christmas Something.  Let's see what this will do.  Bet ya I only do a few days and stop.

A Link Up For Nails!

I was on face book when I saw this link up over at my friend's blog.  I wished I knew about this sooner.  I am constantly doing my nails.  But sadly, this is the last link up.  Oh well.   I did this a few weeks ago for our vacation.  The pink base is OPI Pink-ing Of You.  My middle finger is Sally Hansen's Big Glitter Top Coat Goldi-flecks.  The gold stripes on my ring finger is Sally Hansen's Insta-dri Go For Gold.  I put a few layers of top coat on my stripes.  I used Essie's Good To Go.  The technique I used for the stripes, I got here.  Yup, I would have never have guess to use tape.  Though, I tried using a punch to make a heart but the paint came off the tape when I used the punch...so I went for stripes.     I even put a layer of top coat on the stripes the next day...just to make sure.

Miscellaneous Sunday

Miscellaneous Sunday is just a day where I post about stuff.

 Yesterday at Meijer I saw these flowers and they are slowly dying.  I thought if I planted them, the roots would have room to grow and improve.  Here is to crossing our fingers!

A few years ago, I used to play FarmVille on Facebook, but some people got mean and both my desk top and my Hubs work laptop couldn't play it any more.  It got to big for the puter's memory.  But since April, my girls have gotten me into Hay Day.  I love it and I am addicted!

Still working on the weight loss.  I actually gained weight between winter and now.  You would think that would motivated me, but nope.  

Typing my blog on my Mini IPad is harder than on my desk top.

Well, here I am.  It has been almost two years!  I redid my blog again.  I do not know what I am doing.  I started posting on my facebook page again but have done nothing here.  What to do...what to do...
