Congrats Card

It was hard getting on the computer this past week. My girls were on vacation from school and I had to share the computer. Wishing for my own some day;)

On to the card:

I used the sketch from this month's sketch challenge from Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers #26.
I am also using other challenges.

The Character Cafe. That challenge was a recipe challenge. We were to use a digi image, 3 pieces of paper and 5 embellies.

The Wonders Of Winter

School was canceled today!! Woo hoo!! But I still have to go to work tonight. Hopefully the roads will be cleared by then. As I am typing this, the plow trucks are on our streets shoving snow up our driveway. I should go out there and shovel that mess up;)
Here is the current sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. I had fun with this sketch.
I sprinkled white paint on the background. Unfortunately the pictures are dark. This was before I had my digi camera. The title is a sticker that reads The Wonders Of Winter. Lindsey was introducing Michaela to the snow. She was and is so happy to have a sister:)

AHHHH! Work just called me and said I didn't have to go in today because of the snow! Yeah!!

Thank You Card

The snow is slowly coming. We are supposed to get 5-8+ inches. Possible snow day tomorrow! The only thing is that I have to work tomorrow night so I am hoping that the roads are cleared in the evening time.

I also used the current color combo challenge over at Paper Secrets.
Here is the Thank you card that I made. I am also entering this card in the monthly challenge thru the stamping group I belong with at Your Special Delivery. That is the group where I pay a monthly fee and get a choice of digi stamps. There were so many cute images. I am not done checking it out!! I am using the Sammie image from Becca Kay Designs.

Hey you all! I am sorry I am not visiting you all a lot lately. I am feeling a little overwhelmed lately. Who knew that a 2-3 day a week job would mess ya up.

My Little Spartan

I was so hoping for a freak snow storm today so I didn't have to wake up and get the kids ready for school today. Didn't happen. Oh well. Shows me right. I shouldn't have stayed up to 3 in the morning!!

Here is a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.
This is what I did with the sketch. I have pictures of all the girls in this Michigan State outfit. I gave away a bunch of our baby clothes but this is one of the items I kept. You never know..there might be a maybe. Jason says no, but you never know!! Actually there are just some things I couldn't part with. So this is Michaela, January of 2005.

Lindsey is a fan of the University of Michigan so she shrieks when she sees her pictures of herself in this outfit. The only reason why she likes that school is because the mascot is an animal, wolverine. She is just crazy about animals. I tell her Mommy's school's mascot is a WARRIOR. But since it is not an animal she wants nothing to do with it. Of course if she wants to have a career with animals she has to deal with MSU. My school is known for its agricultural work. So, in the words of Queenie Jeannie....nanner nanner!!
