We read If You Give A Mouse A Cookie by Laura Numeroff. I love all her books. When I find out there is a new one, I run to the library and grab it!
This week we made cookies. I just cut a circle out of brown paper and let them decorate the cookie. Here is Adela's cookies
I love that book too! I think it's great that you did it too. I always do on the project along with my kids. It's fun:0)

Now that's a nice simple project. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until Noah is old enough to do projects like that!! Right now everything just goes straight into his mouth.
ReplyDeleteI love your project! You gave your kids a fun way to be creative! And trust me, I know BFG would rather do simple than have me running around stressing over getting all the stuff for a "big" project together.
ReplyDeleteWe love this series of books! Of course, the pig ones are BFG's favorite because the pig is a girl. LOL!
This is such a great book!! And goes great with what we did at our house this week. In fact I plan to incorporate it into what we do in the next few days as part of our "Cookie" lessons. Thanks for sharing some great ideas.
