So we decided to make hats. We did the classic pirate hat and decorated it.
Just in case you forgot how to make one I will give the instructions. Hey, I forgot and had to find the instructions. Take a whole sheet of newspaper and cut off 4 inches off the side of the paper. Fold the two ends til they met. Take the bottom part and fold up on both sides. Then tape the folds secure.
I let the kids decorate their hats on their own. So, of course I got a lot of drops of glitter glue on the hat. I was able to convince them to put buttons and pieces of paper. Here is Adela's hat.
cute!
